GENTLE GIANT OF THE SEA

❃ The whale shark is the largest fish in the world, growing up to 40 feet (12 meters) long or more while remaining a peaceful filter feeder. Despite its enormous size, this gentle giant glides gracefully through warm tropical and subtropical oceans, feeding on tiny plankton, fish eggs, and small crustaceans by filtering thousands of gallons of seawater through its wide mouth.

❃ Instantly recognizable by its beautiful pattern of white spots and stripes, every whale shark has a unique design—much like a human fingerprint. These slow-moving giants migrate thousands of miles between feeding grounds and are often found near coral reefs and coastal waters rich in plankton. Curious but harmless, whale sharks have become one of the most sought-after animals for divers and snorkelers to observe in the wild.

❃ Although they can live for decades, much of the whale shark's life remains a mystery to scientists. Today, they are listed as endangered due to threats such as vessel strikes, accidental fishing bycatch, and habitat loss. As ambassadors of ocean conservation, whale sharks remind us that the largest creatures beneath the waves can also be among the gentlest and most awe-inspiring.

When It Arrives

Your plush travels inside our satchel, and some designs may be vacuum-sealed to keep them protected and compact during their journey. Don’t worry if yours looks a little flattened when first unpacked — the filling is designed to bounce back and simply needs a little time and fluffing to take its full shape.

Bringing it back to form:

1. Remove it from the packaging as soon as it arrives — don’t leave it packed.

2. Give it a good fluff — gently knead the body and work the limbs, wings, ears, or tail to redistribute the filling.

3. Let it breathe. Most plush regain their full shape within 1–3 days, while larger or denser designs can take up to a week.

4. Smooth any flattened or creased fur with your fingers or a soft brush as it fluffs back up.

5. Want to speed things up? Use a hairdryer on low, warm heat, held about 20cm away. Keep it moving and use short bursts between fluffs. Never use high heat.

Plush make this journey every day and naturally bounce back after being unpacked. If yours still isn’t looking like itself after a week, write to us at support@gagebeasleyshop.com and we’ll make it right.

Care: Spot clean only. Do not soak.

Whale Shark Soft Stuffed Plush Toy

We were thrilled when the order arrived. It took awhile to get here, but they are exactly what we had hoped for. They are for Christmas presents for our grandkids and we have pictures of their mom swimming or holding the sea creatures that we purchased! We look forward to seeing their faces on Christmas! They will love to cuddle with their new soft plush toys!
